11/01/2009 FAIRFIELD ATTORNEY JOINS NEW GROUP AIMED AT HELPING WOMEN NAVIGATE DIVORCE Fairfield – Fairfield Attorney Karen A. McCormack joins the recently formed Professional Women’s Alliance of CT (PWA-CT) – a one-stop resource for Connecticut women going through divorce or other major life transitions. PWA-CT comprises a group of local professional women licensed to provide services, advice and support in the areas of finance, tax, law, mental health, mortgages, real estate, insurance, career coaching and retirement planning. “I joined PWA-CT to assist those women who are in life transitions gain access to the important information that they need in order to navigate through a very complex and often times intimidating legal system,” says McCormack, who is a general law practitioner and litigator with a specific emphasis on those issues relating to divorce, custody, real estate and probate matters. “To the extent that I can help those in need, I feel compelled and honored assist to them in their life journey.” 09/1999 Fairfield Minuteman Attorney Kieran Costello has risked physical harm to drive abused women to shelters.
